Woodland Grey Roof Colour

Woodland Grey is a deep grey with a green undertone, and it is the colour people argue about most. Colorbond describe it as grey-green, Dulux call it a charcoal-brown with a warm undertone, and on a real roof both are fair, because it shifts more than almost any other colour in the range. In flat morning light it reads as a soft bushland green-grey. In full afternoon sun it goes browner and warmer. In shade it looks close to charcoal. That is exactly why a 50mm swatch is useless for this one, and why every roof below is photographed as a whole roof in natural light. It has been the default Australian roof colour for decades, and it suits homes with established gardens, timber, stone or red brick, where a straight cool grey can look cold. Every project here is an Oz-Roof job finished in Dulux Acratex roof membrane in Woodland Grey.
