Tuscan Red Roof Colour
Almost every roof colour article written in the last five years pushes you towards grey. Tuscan Red is for the homeowners it does not suit. It is a warm, earthy traditional red, closer to a weathered terracotta than a bright pillar-box red, and it is the right answer on red brick, cream brick and character homes where a dark grey roof reads as wrong rather than modern. Most roofs we finish in Tuscan Red were originally red concrete tiles that have gone chalky and faded, so the job is not changing the house, it is giving it back the colour it had. The roof below is a Magill home with 25-year-old Monier Elabana tiles, around 100 tiles replaced and the whole roof restored in Dulux Acratex.
Got a faded red tile roof and want to keep it red? We will come out, measure it and give you a written quote at no cost, and tell you honestly whether the tiles are worth restoring. Book a free measure and quote or call 0419 039 693.
