Professional Assessment
In the vast majority of cases we are able to issue a formal quote almost instantly by using our online imagery tools. We can measure the roof accurately within centimetres via our Near Maps subscription and having completed over 1000 roof restorations, we can usually even deduce the tile type and profile. Our method of quoting really suits busy people that don’t want to sit at home waiting for tradesmen to visit their site and discuss unnecessary details. Preparation & Cleaning
High-pressure cleaning (around 4,000 PSI) removes years of accumulated dirt, moss and lichen from the surface of the tiles. During the cleaning process, no chemicals or agents are used or necessary – the roof is simply cleaned with high-pressure water. Getting the roof surface super clean allows good adhesion of the primer coat to the tile surface. It also ensures the new coat of roof pointing bonds properly to the surrounding roof surface.
Primer Application
Premium Paint Application
At this stage we apply two super heavy coats of Dulux Acratex Roof membrane in the colour chosen by the client. Any colour can be chosen, regardless of the original roof colour. At Oz-Roof we never mix in water with the coating to save a few cents. We apply the coating as thick as it can be applied. This, combined with the high build primer, delivers an outstanding finish and a great looking impervious roof surface.
Final Inspection & Warranty
All roofs that have never been painted before will come with a 15-year roof coating warranty when coated by Oz-Roof, as we are certified Dulux applicators. As a professionally licensed contractor in Queensland, all of our jobs come with Home Warranty Insurance.
